Citing Your Sources

Lecture Slides

Google Like A Pro!

  • Use specific search terms. Think about synonyms and related terms that you can use when developing a list of search terms.
  • Put phrases that you want to stick together as a single idea in quotes.
  • Keep track of what search term combinations have been successful!
  • Consider adding terms like 'data,' 'graph,' 'report,' or 'statistics' to your main search terms.
  • Try out Google's Advanced Search.

*Remember, if you use Google to find additional information for this project, you must complete a SOAPS for Science evaluation!*
