As a group, research your social justice movement and its connections to art and visual expression of its time using the resources suggested and create a PowerPoint presentation to share your research with the class. You will have six days in class to do your research and create your presentation.
For the research portion of this unit, you will be working in groups of three to research a social justice movement and its connections to art and visual expression of its time. Each member of the group will have a distinct research ‘role’ and specific area of information to research. The group will combine their research and work together develop a presentation for the class. Later, you may also work together to make art, but not necessarily.
