Database and Web Search Tips

In databases such as JSTOR and Proquest, put quotation marks around your novel title.
Avoid searching with sentences, instead combine the title along with a keyword.
- ex: "Pride and Prejudice" and gender
When searching in Google, try limiting your results by domain.
- ex: "Never Let Me Go" site:.edu

These databases can be used to find both historical and critical sources.
