Database and Web Search Tips
- In databases such as JSTOR and EBSCO, put quotation marks around your novel title.
- Avoid searching with sentences, instead combine the title along with a keyword.
- ex: "Pride and Prejudice" and gender
- Ideal sources are Peer Reviewed, Full Text, and were published within the last 25-30 years
- Use relevant articles to look for similar or related sources, citations, other articles that cite it, etc.
